Read moreMy work this far has led me to explore predominantly music through writing. Among all of my interests, I am particularly drawn to grassroots initiatives, whether that be music, sport or tackling social issues within London.
My experience in music spans from journalism to A&R, artist management and event production. Through my studies at City University London, I have acquired skills that make me well-equipped as a professional in journalism and media. This includes, but is not limited to, media law, magazine production, arts and culture journalism, broadcast journalism, and humanitarian crisis reporting.
My final project was a corpus-based evaluation of language used across tabloid and broadsheet and left- and right-wing-leaning publications. This dissertation solidified my interest in investigative journalism; although not something that is visible in the work presented in this portfolio, it is certainly where my interest lies and where much of my reading and research outside of work is concentrated.
Overall, I am an experienced creative professional, committed to creating change through writing and creative work.
Music — Events
Unreleased creates moments for upcoming artists as they work towards releases by creating mutual opportunity for artists to gain insight from an audience and peers, who in return, get to meet with cutting-edge artists and exclusive early access to unreleased music.

My work
I have worked with Unreleased through event support, A&R and journalism. I have partnered with them through my journey of finding and writing about the music that inspires me, along with the creative communities and spaces that interact with each other through this music.
Music — Culture
Split60 is a creative platform documenting London's next wave of music and culture. Originally a freestyle platform with the focus of giving back to performing artists it has since grown to a hub of creativity across music, fashion, design and culture.
My work
Since joining the team in 2024, I have orchestrated two interview series, Behind the Music and Community Leaders. Both have similar goals of spotlighting individuals within the community that we believe deserve recognition. We believe creative opportunities should be readily available and accessible to all. Because of this, we have developed a weekly newsletter that includes 40+ events and opportunities in London and throughout the UK.
Journalism — Sport
Ground-Up was a one-edition grassroots sport magazine, aiming to be a journey through imagery, anecdotes and interviews that capture the essence of grassroots sport. Traditional media is void of the real soul of sports that should be highlighted, Ground-Up intended to combat this.
My work
As editor of the magazine, I oversaw the development of the magazine from ideation to creation in under 6 months. This included assigning roles to fellow team members, liaising with interviewees, organising shoots for front cover/social media content and finalising design decisions.
Journalism — Sport & Fashion
Movemag was a short personal project of mine. I wanted to capture and document movement in different forms and the communities in London that connect through movement. This included run clubs and walking groups.
My work
I spent time looking into running specifically and the subcultures that surround it, this lead to interviews that investigated the interesting intersection of sport and fashion.
